CNet.co.uk reviewed Motorola RAZR V3iM cellphone and gave an excellent rating of 8.1 out of possible 10. CNet commented that “distancing itself from the terrible Rokr E1, the V3i is a good-looking phone with very usable music software. Sadly, the 100-song cap has prevented it from being a great mobile phone/MP3 player solution. We’re also disappointed that the only external changes from the V3i are the burgundy casing and dedicated iTunes key.” The features that been liked are dedicated iTunes key, slim form factor and battery-saving aeroplane mode. While the features that been disliked are the 100-song cap on iTunes, the lack of effort in converting the V3im into a more music-oriented phone.
