Meanwhile, Microsoft and Bungie Studios also also reveal two more methods for gamers to get invite to register and join Halo 3 multiplayer beta this Spring.
Beside registering for an invite in halo3.com, gamers can also apply for a free invite to play Halo3 multi-player beta which will be available exclusively on Xbox 360 in Spring 2007 by using one of the following method:
Method 1 – “Rule of Three” Program
Under “Rule of Three” program, players can qualify for Halo3 beta program by playing 3 hours of Halo 2 on Xbox Live between 12:01 AM EST on February 1, 2007 through 11:59 PM EST on February 3rd, 2007, and then being one of the first 13,333 “Halo 2” gamers to subscribe for Halo 3 beta invite at halo3.com.
Method 2 – Purchase “Crackdown” Xbox 360 Game which include Invites
“Crackdown”, a exclusive action game for Xbox 360 will be release to retail stores for sale in the U.S on Feb. 20, Asian countries on Feb. 22, and European countries on Feb. 23. And, eager players will find marked boxes of “Crackdown” that include an invite to participate in the coveted “Halo 3” multiplayer beta program when it becomes available. Owners of “Crackdown” with a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription just need to load their copy of “Crackdown” into Xbox 360 and use thee game CD or disc as a key to download the Halo 3 beta from Xbox Live Marketplace and join the battle in “Halo 3” multiplayer game.
To be able to download the Halo 3 game for free and play the Halo 3 multiplayer beta in Xbox Live, games will need an Xbox 360 Pro console (includes hard-drive) or an Xbox 360 Core console with hard drive, a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription and a valid Microsoft.
