It’s a bit sluggish out of the box, but some basic tweaking, such as a memory upgrade, can turn this model into a satisfying performer. For the price, this Presario is a winner. It’s a good choice as a secondary or entry-level PC that doesn’t have to handle top-of-the-line gaming and video-editing tasks.

Cons: Too little installed memory; optical drive does not write to DVD; so-so graphics.
