Another cumulative update has been released from freshly baked Windows 10 May 2019 Update OS version 1903 Build 18362.1, or Build 18362.20 if installed via Windows 10 May 2019 Update ISO image.
The KB4495666 cumulative update changes the OS Build of Windows 10 v.1903 Build 18362.1 and 18362.30 to 18362.53. In addition to bug fixes to Windows 10 May 2019 Update, the update also includes security updates that come as part of the normal monthly Patch Tuesday release cycle.
KB4495666 is offered to all Windows 10 v.1903, including both build 18362.1 and 18362.30. The update is in the Retail ring, which means it’s available to general public, despite the claim that the CU is only available to Window Insider program Slow, Fast and Release Preview rings.
To get the Windows 10 Version 1903 Build 18362.53, just check for updates in Windows Update.
There is a known issue with the update though. After installing this update, users may experience error “0x800705b4” when launching Windows Defender Application Guard or Windows Sandbox. To workaround the issue, use the credentials of a local admin to create and set the following registry keys on the Host OS, and then restart the Host:
KB4495666 is actually released together with other 2 updates, a Servicing Stack Update (KB4497727) and Adobe Flash update (KB4493478).
If you for any reason unable to get the new updates through Windows Update, or is having error trying to install the update via Windows Update, you can manually download the updates and install using command line utility.
